Shared Wall

Public tile wall – write or draw into a tile. Anyone can overwrite or clear tiles.

The Shared Wall is a public, collaborative canvas made of many small tiles. Click a tile and leave a short text with your own background and text color, or a little drawing – no sign-up needed. The idea is inspired by the famous Million Dollar Homepage, except here nobody buys anything: every tile is free.

Unlike the original, no tile belongs to anyone forever – every visitor may overwrite or clear any tile. That way the wall keeps changing and belongs to everyone together. Contributions sync live so you can watch the wall grow. A simple word filter and a rate limit keep the worst abuse away.

Frequently asked questions

Are my contributions public?

Yes. The wall is visible to everyone and every tile can be overwritten or cleared by others. So don't leave any private or sensitive content.

Can I change someone else's tile?

Yes. There is no ownership: just click an occupied tile to overwrite it, or use "Report & clear" to remove inappropriate content.

Is the wall shared across all devices?

Yes, once the site runs with a database (Supabase). In local test mode without configuration, tiles stay in your browser and only sync between tabs.
